Bill Kohrs

VP Finance and Administration and Head of Operations, Climos

Bill Kohrs holds the position of VP Finance and Administration and Head of Operations for Climos Inc. Bill joins Climos after a 28 year career in high technology, spanning domestic and international positions with a variety of corporations and start-up ventures. His specialty has been technology development / transfer and business development in new international markets and new high technology industry segments.

Bill began his career with twelve years at IBM Corporation in a variety of sales and marketing positions, highlighted by four years in Beijing, China as IBM's Chief Representative and Branch Office Manager. Following IBM, Bill joined Oracle Corporation as SVP of Latin America for five years, followed by executive positions in the Americas services division. Bill followed his Oracle experience with three start-up entities, including Memco Software as VP - Services, and Getthere.com as VP of Services.

Bill has also advised several Venture Capital organizations on new start-up ventures and has been involved as Chairman of Sea Crest School in his home of Half Moon Bay CA and other non-profit organizations. Bill studied geology and earth sciences for one year with Professor Stephen Jay Gould at Harvard College.
